We did tons and tons of dumb little drawings like these. The robots look much more organic and alive in these sketches than they do in any semi-finished animation. Something is lost in the translation. Notice that many of these, like almost all Chris Harding's drawings these days, are done on lined notebook paper, using a Sanford Uni-Ball Onyx Micro rollerball pen-- the best drawing tools in the world.
