Alas, most of the drawings for Learn Self Defense were made directly on the computer, which was a first for Chris Harding. Ordinarily there would have been a lot of drawing on paper and scanning, but this was a whole new adventure in Wacom wrangling. The paper artifacts that do exist for this film are in the form of very rough thumbnails and storyboards. Notice that Chris Harding prefers to draw on lined notebook paper because he is terrified by the vast blankness of proper drawing paper.
